A fashion illustration technique course for those who want to draw people and the clothes they wear.

Step into the world of fashion illustration with Fashion Stories, a creative workshop designed for anyone who loves to draw people and the clothes they wear. Led by Beth Morris, author of the internationally acclaimed Fashion Illustrator, this course is perfect for students aged year 7 and up, especially those studying textiles or interested in developing their artistic skills at a higher level in school or college.

In this workshop, you’ll learn to:

• Accurately capture body proportions and poses.

• Represent fabrics, patterns, and textures with flair.

• Use colour and style to bring your designs to life.

• Develop mood boards and sketchbook techniques inspired by real-world fashion design.

• Explore how iconic fashion illustrators, past and present, bring catwalk collections to life.

No matter your skill level, Fashion Stories will help build your confidence and design and illustration techniques over time. You’ll experiment with a variety of media, dive into creative projects, and gain inspiration from the vibrant world of fashion illustration.

All abilities are welcome especially complete beginners! Your skills will build and improve over time. Learning about new materials and art techniques will also help you enhance your school studies in creative subjects. 

The great thing about this course is it is very much art for pleasure. There are no exams, homework or assessments. It is a place where students come to enjoy creating without limitations or pressure.
