You’ll begin with a series of quick drawing exercises to loosen up, guided by Gail’s expertise. Then, step-by-step, she’ll take you through her process for painting seasonal flowers like phlox, sweet peas, and cosmos. Gail’s simple, beautiful style makes her teaching both accessible and deeply inspiring, helping you develop your watercolour skills and create artwork you’ll be proud to frame and take home.

Gail Jones is an artist and illustrator who creates beautiful botanical artwork from her studio in rural Buckinghamshire. Her original watercolours are sought after by business owners, publishers, stylists and individuals looking to add exquisite botanical beauty to interiors, books and brands. Gail’s clients include Jo Malone, Milton Brown and Dior.

Recently, Gail’s Bee ‘Bee inFlight’ hand painted in watercolour, was shortlisted for the Royal academy of art summer exhibition 2024. She is currently working on a library of botanical artwork for Middleton Lodge in Yorkshire.

What is included in the ticket price?

All art supplies are provided but you are welcome to bring your own along too if you prefer.

Tea, coffee and biscuits.
